Does Anchorify replace Notion?
Anchorify replaces Notion only for the delivery step: publishing a finished document to a reader who should not need an account. It does not replace Notion's database, wiki, or task-management features. If your workflow centers on relational databases or team wikis, Notion remains the better choice for those layers.
What is the best free alternative to Notion?
For client-delivery workflows, Anchorify is free with no read-side paywall and no guest-seat limits. For internal wikis, AppFlowy and AFFiNE are the leading open-source options. For project management, ClickUp and Asana both have free tiers with boards, timelines, and task tracking.
Can Notion pages be made public without requiring a sign-in?
Yes, via Notion Sites, but only on the Plus plan ($10/member/month billed annually) and only for pages the publisher explicitly marks as public. Guest-invited pages always require a Notion account. The public-facing Notion Sites feature also carries Notion branding and is not toggleable via the API.
Are there Notion alternatives with better AI editing?
Notion AI is bundled with the Business plan at $20/member/month.
