FAQ

Does Cloakist suppress Notion's login wall on private pages?
No. Cloakist routes your custom domain to the Notion URL via CNAME, but Notion's access rules are unchanged. If the Notion page is not set to public, visitors still see Notion's sign-in prompt on your custom domain. The CNAME masks the URL; it does not bypass Notion's server-side authentication.
What is the difference between Cloakist and Super.so?
Both are domain-wrapping layers for Notion and other tools. Super.so charges $16/month per site for custom domains and offers deeper customization. Cloakist wraps more upstream tools and is generally lower cost. Neither hosts content natively — both proxy to an upstream tool.
Can I use a custom domain with Anchorify for free?
Custom domains are a pro-plan feature. The free plan publishes at anchorify.io/yourorg/yourproject/your-slug. If a branded slug at the anchorify.io domain is sufficient, the free plan works without any subscription.
Do I need to migrate my Notion content to switch to Anchorify?
Yes. Notion's Export feature generates a clean markdown file for text-heavy pages. For a single client brief or report, the export-and-publish step takes under two minutes. For large multi-page Notion sites with linked databases, Anchorify is not a direct replacement.
